Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba)
A slow growing, long lived tree that can reach a mature height of 60 feet, with a canopy spread that ranges from 20-40 feet. The bark is light gray, turning darker and furrowed with age. Its leaves are leathery, light green, broad fan shaped 1-4 inches wide that turn gold in the fall. Persistent golden foliage then drops to form a golden carpet beneath the tree. They are tolerant of all soils, air pollution, high wind and drought. There are no significant pest problems are known at this time.
